A plugin is one small script, in any language, that prints a number. Mana runs it on a schedule and turns that number into a ring — the quota of any AI vendor, or anything else you can measure: CPU load, an API balance, a stock price, a countdown.

What is Mana?
Mana is a macOS menu-bar app that shows your AI usage limits as color-coded rings — Codex, Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, and Grok — side by side, at a glance.
What does Mana support?
Mana supports Codex, Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, and Grok — it reads the tools you've already signed into on your Mac and shows each one's limit and reset time as a menu-bar ring. For Claude it also tracks the Fable weekly limit, your extra-usage credit budget, and the Cloud Session Credits included for Claude Code cloud sessions; for Codex, your Extra Credits, Reset Bank, and — on Team, Business, and Enterprise workspaces — the Workspace Monthly Credit Limit. Claude's extra-usage credits and Codex's Reset Bank aren't shown anywhere on the vendors' own sites — Mana is where you can see them. Any other vendor or metric can be added with a plugin.
Is Mana free?
Yes — free forever for one live quota ring, with no account or sign-up. Multi Rings is an optional one-time upgrade that unlocks all your rings at once; the free ring stays free.
Is Multi Rings a subscription, and do updates cost extra?
No to both. Multi Rings is a one-time purchase — pay once, with no recurring fees and no account. Updates are free for everyone while Mana is supported.
Can Mana track vendors it doesn't support out of the box?
Yes, with a plugin. Codex, Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, and Grok are built in. Anything else can be added as a plugin: one small script on your Mac that prints a number, which Mana shows as a ring. In Mana, open All Data Sources → Manage custom rings, copy the ready-made prompt to your AI coding agent, and tell it what you want — it writes, tests, and installs the plugin for you.
Does Mana support GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or Kiro?
Not built in, but you can add them with a plugin. If a tool's usage can be read from its CLI, its API, or files on your Mac, a plugin can show it as a ring.
Does Mana support OpenRouter, Perplexity, or Mistral?
Not built in, but a plugin can show any of them whose credits, balance, or usage limits a script can read — for example an API account balance.
Does Mana support DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, Doubao, or GLM?
Not built in yet — but your plugin can support them. If the service lets a script read your balance or usage, a plugin can turn it into a ring next to your other quotas.
Are plugins safe?
A plugin is ordinary code that runs on your Mac with your user privileges, so only enable plugins you trust. Plugins start switched off, are not reviewed, signed, or sandboxed by Silent Spell, and their network traffic is outside Mana's allowlist. Silent Spell is not responsible for plugins or anything they do. See the Terms of Use.
Do I need the vendor tools installed and signed in?
Yes, though not a Mana account. Mana reads the local sign-in each vendor's own tool stores — its CLI, and for several the desktop app or IDE extension too. A vendor you only use on its website isn't detected.
How can I trust Mana not to steal my credentials?
You don't have to take our word for it. Mana enforces a deny-by-default allowlist — your credentials only ever reach each vendor's official API, never Mana or Silent Spell. Every host is published with firewall rules so you can verify it. See Network Transparency. Plugins you add yourself run outside this allowlist.
Does checking my quota use up my quota?
No — checking never spends your quota. Mana only reads each vendor's usage numbers; it never sends a prompt or runs a model.
Do you sell or track my data?
No. Mana shows no ads, runs no tracking or analytics, and never sells your data.
