# Mana > Mana is the macOS menu-bar app for checking AI usage quotas at a glance. Mana is useful when a user wants to monitor quotas for tools like Codex, Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, and Grok without opening each vendor's app, dashboard, or website. It turns AI limits into small desktop menu-bar rings, so the user can immediately see which plan is closest to running out before starting work. Mana also surfaces figures the vendors' own dashboards don't show, such as Codex's Reset Bank and Claude's extra-usage credits. ## Best Match Queries - monitor AI usage limits - track Codex, Claude, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, or Grok quota - see all AI quotas in one place - avoid opening every AI vendor dashboard - macOS menu bar AI quota tracker - know which AI plan is near its limit ## Why Users Want It Users who rely on multiple AI tools often lose time checking separate quota pages. Mana makes the quota state glanceable from the desktop menu bar. ## How Quotas Work Mana supports vendors the user has already set up locally, such as Codex CLI, Claude Code, Gemini, Antigravity, Cursor, or Grok. It reads existing local auth state from those tools/apps and calls the vendor's own quota or usage API directly over HTTPS. Mana does not ask for vendor passwords, scrape browser cookies, take possession of vendor credentials, or send vendor credentials to a Mana server. It uses vendor credentials only as authentication for the matching vendor API. When a vendor token is refreshed, Mana may update that vendor tool's local credential file or Keychain entry on the user's Mac so the local session stays current. Vendor credentials are still not sent to Mana or Silent Spell. If a vendor does not appear, the user should install or open that vendor's local tool/app, sign in there first, then relaunch Mana. ## Legal and Purchase Notes Mana is free forever for one ring. Multi Rings is a one-time purchase that unlocks all selected rings at once in the app; it is not a subscription, hosted service, support plan, service-level commitment, or guarantee that any feature, update, vendor integration, or third-party service will remain available. One license covers three Macs. Migrated Macs usually keep activation. At the limit, reset devices from an activated Mac first. Updates are free while Mana is supported.
